We are proud of our LEED® -certified projects. At Sullivan, LEED® certification is not just about achieving points on a scorecard. It is part of our culture, approach to design, and construction practices that leave communities better off than we found them. LEED® changes how we think about sustainability, and that changes how we operate. Even where projects are not designated to meet LEED® certification, we are finding ways to incorporate LEED® concepts and principles. It signifies a commitment to sustainability, energy conservation, life-cycle improvements, environmental responsibility, and the community—now and for future generations. It is a commitment to the people we build for. At Sullivan, we do not just build facilities that stand the test of time. We sustain the land and sense of place that make a community worth calling “home.”

Giving back

INDIGENOUS PARTNERSHIPS

Sullivan is committed to building lasting working relationships with Indigenous Peoples and communities based on trust, honesty, respect, and integrity.

We recognize that we operate within the traditional territories of Indigenous Peoples. We honour this through the provision of opportunities for social and economic development, recruitment of promising Indigenous candidates, ensuring their success, supporting their career progression, and capacity building through partnership and collaboration with Indigenous businesses.

Sullivan is a proud member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB) and is participating in the Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) program. Sullivan also recommends developing work packages for subcontract and supply that are aligned with the capabilities of local, Indigenous, and diverse businesses in order to optimize and encourage participation.

We want to help build as many futures as we can. That means supporting and collaborating on projects and initiatives that are looking to make strides—and fortify Indigenous communities and organizations.
